JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Locum Senior House Officers (SHOs) across multiple specialties, including Medicine, Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G), Paediatrics, Anaesthetics, and Psychiatry to join our NHS Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified doctors to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced clinical environment while enjoying the flexibility of locum work.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Full GMC (General Medical Council) Registration with a License to Practice.

MINIMUM 3 YEARS OF NHS EXPERIENCE IN THE UK (CLINICAL ATTACHMENT EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED).

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Competency in managing acutely unwell patients.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Right to work in the UK (Sponsorship is NOT available for this role).
• Valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Up-to-date mandatory training and life support certifications (ALS/PALS as required for the specialty).

• Provide high-quality clinical care under consultant supervision.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients effectively.
• Conduct ward rounds, clerking, and patient follow-ups.
• Respond to emergency situations and participate in on-call duties where required.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with NHS guidelines.
• Adhere to all hospital protocols, policies, and GMC regulations.
