Nestled along the shores of a private lake, the Canyon Lake Lodge is more than a restaurant. It is one of Canyon Lake’s most scenic and sought-after gathering spaces, hosting everything from casual dining and community events to elegant weddings and large-scale banquets.
As Lodge Assistant Manager , you will step into a leadership role at this beautiful, lakeside facility that serves as a central hub for dining, celebrations, and community gatherings. You will help manage daily restaurant operations, oversee events, and support a service-focused team—all while gaining valuable experience in a venue that’s at the heart of Canyon Lake’s social life.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Delivering outstanding service by creating a warm, welcoming environment for guests and staff alike
  • Solving problems in real time, anticipating needs, and addressing issues to keep operations running smoothly
  • Communicating clearly with staff, vendors, and leadership to support a positive and informed work environment
  • Managing financials, including budgeting, payroll tracking, and cost control to help meet department goals
  • Utilizing tech tools such as Microsoft Office and POS systems to manage scheduling, reporting, and day-to-day operations
  • Supervising and coaching front-of-house staff to uphold service standards and support performance development
