Description Department: Silver Mountain Lodge Job Title: Front Desk Night Manager Workdays/Hours: Varied shifts, including evenings and weekends Job Description: Front Desk Night Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Position would consist of but is not limited to-- helping guests with bill disputes, guest issues, coordinating housekeeping requests, and answering guest’s general questions. This position would work closely with the front desk manager, housekeeping, and maintenance departments and would require good communication with the appropriate department supervisors. Directly supervises all front office personnel and ensures proper completion of all front desk duties, including making sure all staff follows rules and guidelines of the Lodge. Helps Assist in training and motivating front desk employees. Helps coordinate the activities of the front desk and covers shifts when needed. Makes sure front desk staff has appropriate change and bags are accurate at all times. Acts as an assistant to the Front Desk Manager and performs duties requested and other duties as assigned. Marginal Duties and Responsibilities: Ordering front desk supplies Covering shifts when needed One on One customer service training with staff Keep front desk staff up to date on all new packages, events, and incoming groups Have daily 7-minute meetings with staff to go over daily issues and communicate about what improvements are needed Be available to answer employee questions on your assigned day Requirements Pre-Employment Requirements: Reference check, criminal background check Education and/or Experience: Computer experience Technical Skills: Familiarity with Springer Miller system experience helpful
