FOSSIL RIM WILDLIFE CENTER invites applicants for the position: Lodgings Associate        Summary/Purpose of Position: The Lodgings Associate plays a critical role in delivering a high-quality, seamless guest experience for overnight visitors at Fossil Rim Wildlife Center. This position operates as a hybrid role supporting both front desk operations and housekeeping functions, ensuring that guest accommodations, common areas, and service interactions meet established cleanliness and hospitality standards.   This role requires strong guest service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.   Description of Position: The responsibilities of the Lodgings Associate include but are not limited to the following: * Provide professional and courteous guest service in person and over the phone * Assist with reservations, guest inquiries, and point-of-sale transactions * Complete guest check-in and check-out procedures * Clean guest rooms and common areas to established standards * Perform daily laundry, restocking, and general housekeeping tasks * Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the Lodge * Stay informed on Fossil Rim operations, attractions, and policies * Complete assigned daily tasks and support overall Lodge operations   Experience and Qualities Required: * Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a professional and approachable demeanor * Effective verbal communication skills, both in person and via telephone * Ability to multitask and remain organized in a dynamic work environment * High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to a team environment * Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and flexibility * Maintain a clean, professional appearance in accordance with department uniform standards * Interact with guests and team members in a respectful, positive, and service-oriented manner   Work Requirements: * Schedule of up to 29 hours per week; must be available for weekends, holidays, and peak seasons * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as climb stairs in a multi-level facility * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work with cleaning chemicals and laundry equipment * Uphold Fossil Rim’s mission, values, and commitment to conservation and guest experience * Adhere to all organizational policies, including the Employee Handbook and Risk Management Plan   Please submit your resume today!  We are a Non-Profit organization and an equal employment opportunity employer and will consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other protected classification under federal and state law.   Fossil Rim is an “at will” and equal opportunity employer.
