Chu Cho Industries LP. (CCI) is a resource and heavy construction company that works primarily within the forestry, mining, and transportation industries within the Mackenzie FSA. We operate two industrial properties in Mackenzie, BC which include an 1800 sq. ft. shop on a 5-acre lot and a modern 10,000 sq. ft. shop and office complex on a 10-acre lot. Administration, Accounting, and Management for CCI is based in Prince George BC, with opportunities to work in Mackenzie.
Chu Cho Industries is looking for logging equipment operators for the upcoming seasons of operation. The pieces of equipment that our operators run include processors, deckers, log loaders, skidders, bunchers and hoe chuckers and work in the Mackenzie Forest District on a rotational schedule based on operational requirements. Camp accommodations are provided where necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Comfortable with Remote Camp work and long shifts (10-12 hour days)
• Schedule and accommodations vary depending on the location
• Skilled operators for the above listed equipment
• Punctual, committed to being on time for every shift
• Can safely and skillfully operate equipment
• Can follow instruction and work well with other employees, displays a “team player” attitude
• Must have a desire to show up for work consistently
• Must have a valid Class 5 drivers license and a clean drivers abstract

SKILLS:

• Able to follow company policies and procedures
• Able to perform pre-trip inspections on equipment and report deficiencies
• Knowledge of maneuvering equipment on various terrain
• Knowledge of Safety standards while operating on steep slopes

Licence/Certification:

• Class 5 Drivers License (preferred)

• Safe operation of heavy logging equipment
• Fuel and grease the machines
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections (mandatory)
• Perform preventative maintenance as needed
• Follow all applicable SOP/SWP
• Work outside in all weather conditions
