OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting logs safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and awareness of road conditions. Experience in off road log hauling an asset.

SKILLS

• Experienced Class 1 Driver
• Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and practices.
• Ability to perform basic automotive repairs to ensure vehicle reliability.
• Strong communication skills
• A commitment to safety standards and practices in all driving activities.
  Job Type: Full-time
  Pay: $80,000.00-$150,000.00 per year

Licence/Certification:

• Class 1 Licence (required)

Work Location: On the roa

• Operate and drive heavy trucks to transport logs to various locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Secure loads
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while on the road.
• Perform basic maintenance or automotive repairs on the vehicle as needed.
