Ingram Marine Group, the leading carrier on America’s inland waterways, is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our logistics team as a Liquids Logistics Services Representative (or Partner) in our Nashville, TN office. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring commodities reach our customers reliably, efficiently, and safely. What you will be doing: Upholding our Zero Harm policy and culture at every level of communication Managing a river segment, including coordination of boats, barges, vendors, and customers Performing accurate and timely data entry using Ingram’s suite of logistics applications Coordinating equipment to efficiently meet our commitments to our customers Creating towboat orders for expedited tows within your logistical area Scheduling tank barges on linehaul boats (internal and external) in a timely manner Communicating directly with customers and vendors to ensure service expectations are met Reviewing and approving vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness Collaborating with the sales team to understand and meet customer requirements Working cross-functionally with all departments to manage operations while maintaining cost efficiency Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Bachelor’s degree required (may be waived with significant relevant experience) 1-3 years of customer service or logistics experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) Excellent organizational and time management abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Additional Information Work Arrangement: This role is primarily on-site, with the option to work remotely one day per week (Friday), after a training period.
