SUMMARY OF THE ROLE The Logistics Specialist shall manage, plan and organise the Logistics activities and tasks to achieve the overall objectives related to profitability, competitiveness, customer satisfaction, service, and quality. This position will based in Balikpapan and report to Warehouse & Transport Manager. Responsibilities: Plan and optimize transport routes while managing the storage and transportation of inbound and outbound raw materials as well as finished goods Execute procedures and guidelines in compliance with local laws and regulations, ISO 9001, ISO14001, and ISO 45001, JOS, and Jotun’s HSEQ Management system. Execute shipments from production to end-users and track orders using functional systems (e.g., barcodes, tracking software). Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage, distribution, and accurate filing of shipping documents. Monitor and report transportation costs, KPIs, and maintain organized records of vehicles, schedules, and completed orders. Organize employee training sessions on machine usage and safe handling of hazardous materials.
