LOGISTIC SPECIALIST:

For the Ravenna plant, we are looking for a Junior Logistic Specialist at the vehicle centre who, after a special training period, will be responsible for the following activities:
Planning the distribution of bulk products to customers according to the required quality specifications and within the timeframe of the distribution programme;
Coordinating and instructing the drivers (training) assigned to transport in order to carry out the service in compliance with all safety regulations and specific operating procedures;
Ensuring the availability of means of transport for departing deliveries by making calls to contracted carriers or finding spot carriers;
Complying with and passing on to the drivers the regulations pertaining to logistics and transport regulations (ADR);
Ensure that the acceptance, receipt and dispatch procedures, correlated with the relevant documentation, are correctly carried out by the personnel in charge at their own plant;
Ensure that administrative/customs formalities are carried out and provide support for contract management;
Carry out procurement planning, scheduling and control, using the management system in use;
Manage any procurement of products from external sources in order to ensure final availability to customers;
Comply with logistical efficiency and effectiveness targets (KPIs) defined with your manager;
Control invoicing and correct charging of transport costs.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

Team spirit
Good communication, negotiation skills, resistance to stress
Constant search for results-oriented optimisation
Good level of English
Good knowledge of IT systems
Knowledge of ADR regulations and rules for the distribution of medical/pharmaceutical products is an advantage
