Logistics Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily packaging, loading, and dispatch operations, ensuring products are safely packaged, accurately dispatched, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise packaging, loading, and dispatch activities for glass, aluminium, and other fragile materials.
Inspect finished products and ensure proper packaging, protection, labeling, and traceability.
Coordinate daily manpower, work schedules, overtime, transport bookings, and loading priorities.
Ensure safe loading and securing of materials using forklifts, cranes, A-frames, straps, and lifting equipment.
Verify quantities, packing lists, delivery notes, and other dispatch documents.
Coordinate with drivers, transport providers, customers, production, QC, and logistics teams.
Update ERP dispatch records and maintain daily loading/dispatch reports.
Monitor deliveries and promptly escalate delays, damages, shortages, or discrepancies.
Enforce PPE, housekeeping, safety, and workplace discipline standards.

Requirements

2–4 years of experience in logistics, packaging, or dispatch within a manufacturing environment.
Previous supervisory/team-lead experience is required.
Experience with glass, aluminium, façade, or other fragile materials is an advantage.
Knowledge of safe loading, packaging, and material-handling practices.
Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Technical diploma in Logistics, Industrial Operations, or a related field preferred.
Good communication, coordination, and team-management skills.
Willingness to work on the shop floor/loading bay and extended hours when required
