Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and mission-focused Logistician to support government programs by managing and coordinating logistics operations, asset tracking, and supply chain activities. The ideal candidate will ensure accountability, compliance, and timely delivery of government-furnished equipment (GFE) and materials in support of program objectives. Key Responsibilities Manage lifecycle logistics for government-furnished property (GFP), including receipt, tracking, inventory, and disposition Maintain accurate records in accordance with federal regulations and company policies Coordinate shipments, deliveries, and material movement. Monitor inventory levels and recommend procurement or redistribution actions as needed Prepare and process required documentation (e.g., DD1149s, shipping manifests, property transfer forms) Conduct periodic audits and inventory reconciliation to ensure asset accountability Support logistics planning for projects, including forecasting material needs and timelines Collaborate with program managers, contracting officers, and supply chain personnel Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2–5 years of relevant logistics or asset management experience (government contracting preferred) Knowledge of inventory management systems and logistics processes Experience handling government property and documentation requirements Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Active security clearance or ability to obtain one At RMC, we're committed to your career growth!
