Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the operations of all logistics warehousing functions for the assigned business unit and which includes delivery, stock control, process improvement and security.
  • Ensure appropriate warehouse function that stock integrity is maintained.
  • Ensure quality inspections are carried out appropriately.
  • Ensure inspection results and status is applied appropriately.
  • Identify and initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of product, process, quality, management systems non-conformities.
  • Record internal process, product, management systems non-conformities.
  • Control of reject bay.
  • Label non-conforming products.
  • Record Corrective/ Preventive Action for out-going inspection failure.
  • Leading a team of operations staff in the area of Distribution and Inventory Management.
  • Inventory control accuracy, capacity planning and timely stock replenishment.
  • Communicate with customer on distribution and service issues; provide administrative support for order fulfillment.
  • Review and manage 3PL & vendors KPIs and follow up with process improvement plans.
  • Reporting to the immediate superior and ensure that all Key Performance Indicators are accomplished.
  • Accountable for overall cost analysis to ensure effectiveness and competitiveness.
  • Build partnership with customers and ensure that all service performances and projects are met within customer’s requirements.
  • Developing, driving and implementing new initiatives.
  • SOP set-up, implement new processes to meet operational needs and requirements planning.
  • Provide solutions to problem encountered by staff.
  • Monitor management systems performance relating to Logistics function.

Job Requirements:

  • Min. Diploma in Logistics and /or Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Logistics with at least 3 years in supervisory position.
  • Ability to lead and supervise teams and work under tight deadlines.
  • Good personality and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and diplomacy while dealing with complex problems.
