SKILLSET:

· Proven experience working in a logistics, freight forwarding, or transport coordination role within a busy operational environment.
· Forklift qualification (full training will be provided).

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:00, Friday: 07:30 – 13:00 with half an hour break

Responsibilities

· Schedule and track incoming and outgoing shipments.
· Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards.
· Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve issues.
· Schedule and oversee the movement of goods (both inbound and outbound) across the UK, Ireland and Europe ensuring timely deliveries.
· Managing of the TSS documentation and declarations.
· Negotiate and liaise with carriers, haulage firms and other providers to secure cost-effective and reliable transport solutions.
· Prepare, validate and maintain essential shipment paperwork such as Bills of Lading, packing lists, customs/export documentation & delivery dockets.
· Ensure adherence to transport regulations, including import/export rules and health & safety guidelines.
· Work closely with warehouse and manufacturing teams to manage stock levels
· Coordinate goods receipt, stock allocation and shipping preparation.
· Monitor shipment progress, track delivery statuses, and log performance metrics (e.g. costs, lead times).
· Act as a central contact point for delivery queries, handling customer expectations and resolving issues.
· Maintain accurate and traceable records of logistics operations.
