JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a strong and reliable individual to join our Transport team at Marlin Industries, the job requires a good knowledge of administration and office work preferably within a Transport & Logistics environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in logistics administration preferred but not essential
  • Experience with SAP preferred but not essential
  • Proven ability in data analysis and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Attending to calls for Transport Department
  • Answering goods in door & signing for parcels
  • Maintaining customer calls calendar to ensure regular contact for orders for inbound goods
  • Daily creation & searching for more inbound sales
  • Generation of inbound / outbound orders for Transport Planner to organise
  • Generation of collections for 3rd party contracts
  • Administration of closing down completed works
  • Filing Inspection sheets electronically / manually for Transport Compliance Supervisor
  • Allocation and administration of work for 15 - 20 drivers daily
  • Record keeping for drivers paperwork and equipment
  • Creation of Purchase Orders for Transport Manager & Compliance Supervisor
  • Creation of customer reports KPI’s / OTIF Reports
