Logistics Administrator Location: Lubumbashi Sandvik Mining and Construction RDC is a business unit based in Lubumbashi, part of Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions, a business area and leading supplier of equipment, tools, services, and support for the mining industry. We also provide solutions and expertise across a wide range of applications such as rock drilling, rock cutting, loading and hauling, tunnelling, and quarrying. Your mission Plan shipments based on product availability (Goods) Follow up on supplier orders to guarantee on-time deliveries Prepare shipping documents (such as invoices, purchase orders, Feri or AD, Insurance, Inspection report, and bills of lading) Support Supply Chain processes (from coordinating deliveries to managing shipping documents) Ensure that customers receive orders on time. Coordinate our supply chain procedures to maximise delivery quality. Maintain supplier order records. Subscription of licenses taking into account the requirements related to exchange regulations and foreign trade. Follow up on license approvals with our Freight forwarding agent and the bank Subscription of local insurance for all matters in compliance with the local law in force on insurance. Planning of inspections of goods before shipments Organise the transport of goods with external suppliers to the destination. Resolve any litigation that may result from an error during the supply chain in terms of incomplete documentation or inconsistent information. Understand and put in place a strategy to ensure that import activities are carried out legally to prevent import duties and tax penalties. Handle Imports. Your profile We are seeking a Congolese (DRC) citizen with an advanced certificate or diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management, a comprehensive background in a similar role within Logistics, and experience in a customer service role. To be successful in the role, you need a good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality.
