Responsibilities

The role will involve assisting and organising the sale and purchasing of secondary commodities (mainly recyclates) and products generated from Veolia’s Material Recovery Facilities and other Veolia facilities in the UK, and coordinating domestic and overseas logistics.
You will resolve stakeholder queries to service the Veolia facilities in terms of stock control and revenue reporting and provide continuous service to the Veolia facilities and internal sales and purchasing teams.

You will be responsible for the administrative activities of the Central Logistics Team (CLT), including but not limited to all legislative and customer required paperwork and ensuring all transport, storage and gate fees are paid for in line with team SLA.

  • Responsible for the administrative activities of the logistics department.
  • Ensuring all sales are administered and communicated on time.
  • Supporting and/or covering the Logistics Coordinators when it is business critical.
  • Liaising with sites and external customers for stock control
  • Resolving invoice disputes for suppliers and customers.
  • Ensure customers have all the correct information and forms that they will need for waste compliance and export procedures, so that they are completed in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Provide ad hoc management information when required.
  • Carry out processes in accordance with the Business Management System and ensure data
  • enabling monthly KPI performance statistics are always kept up to date.
  • Role holder is required to: Process exports incompliance with international waste regulations
  • Follow EA regulations regarding duty of care and external audits
