KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead projects and develop analytic products to reduce cost and continuously improve processes within the transportation and logistics sectors, to effectively manage data and technology challenges, upgrades, and transitions.
  • Lead the implementation of moderately complex projects and process improvements to drive continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Lead the execution of projects and initiatives, support the team, and perform internal audits of the transportation sourcing operations processes, while using a thorough understanding of data and analytics practices and procedures to report on processes and ensure best practices are shared among locations.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in transportation and logistics.
  • Experience querying, analyzing, and deriving insight from data.
  • Experience with SQL, KNIME, Tableau, or Power Bi.
  • Experience with stake holder management.
Responsibilities

The Logistics Analyst will handle moderately complex analytical challenges of the transportation and logistics area. In this role, you will support transportation mode teams and develop initiatives and coordinate moderately complex supply chain projects to build standardization and improvements.
