This role partners with transportation carriers, customers, and internal supply chain teams to improve service performance, cost control, and regulatory compliance across logistics activities. What You Will Be Doing: * Analyze truck and rail transportation activity to identify trends, cost drivers, and service improvement opportunities * Evaluate freight performance by comparing actual versus forecasted costs, with a focus on demurrage and carrier performance * Analyze shipment, weight, and billing data to support accurate customer invoicing and financial reporting * Review logistics documentation and waste shipment data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance * Enter, maintain, and audit transportation and shipment data within SAP and related logistics systems * Support internal stakeholders by providing insights, reports, and data related to logistics operations * Contribute to process improvements and support shipping operations and administrative needs as required Qualifications: * Must possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) * Proven tenure within chemical, petroleum, or petrochemical operations * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, along with transportation knowledge * Working knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation compliance * Experience with SAP, Transportation Management Systems, and freight pay platforms * Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, operational environment
