JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This role supports the Total Logistics Support (TLS) Contract that GE Aerospace has with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) to maintain the F414 Engines. Based in Ipswich, QLD, you’ll be part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality logistics and supply chain solutions while driving lean processes to optimise inventory and support engine production.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of prior experience in Logistics ideally covering imports and distribution
  • Australian Citizen at time of application
  • Possession of an Australian Defence Security Clearance – Baseline essential, NV1 preferable.
  • Skilled in ERP/SAP tracking systems. Knowledge of Defence Logistics advantageous however not essential.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities as well as excellent conflict resolution skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including proficiency in using pivot tables, charts and graphs, knowledge of commonly used formulas, familiarity with conditional formatting and the ability to perform basic data analysis task

Responsibilities

As a Logistics Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the logistics and cross functions of the TLS Program. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Running and coordinating inventory reports across multiple tools
  • Analysing inventory levels and supporting engine production by collaborating with stakeholders across the enterprise
  • Respond to Customer inventory demands and co-ordinate requests and Transportation
  • Tracking and monitoring of repair items to ensure program forecasts are meet
  • Coordinate international shipments, including customs clearance and delivery to domestic warehouses
  • Track freight movements and resolve any issues or delays
  • Work with sub-contractor to meet the customers assurance and compliance standards
  • Driving lean processes and implementing strategies to manage and optimise supply chain inventory levels.

This role requires flexibility to work across multiple time zones, including early morning and occasional late evening teleconferences with stakeholders locally and in the US.
