Description The Logistic Analyst provides accurate, timely and useful information to Management, ensures accurate accounting for logistics related expenses, and works for continuous improvement for all Logistics activity. General Responsibilities: Planning, Forecasting, Optimization, Invoice Approvals and Processing Essential Duties: Continuous Improvements Review and analysis of all logistics routes for optimization and cost reduction. Identifies process inefficiency for MNA’s internal activity and works to implement improvements. Develops and assists with logistics related system improvements in SAP and other areas as needed. Reviews development plans to determine potential transportation cost impact. IBT/OBT Logistic Payment Processing (MNA-MI Plant Gathering IBT/OBT logistics result data from SAP/GTMS (Weekly, Monthly, As Needed) Verification of all 3PL and logistics invoicing for accuracy. Gathering MI plant non-SAP freight invoices for additional/extra shipment invoice processing. Prepares payment reports and monthly closing reports. Invoice payment: Processing of all logistics invoices / expenses. Collaboration and Support Function Lead weekly optimization meeting with the materials planning team to review weekly utilization and plans for the upcoming week. Collaboration with 3PL’s, other logistics providers, and carriers for route planning and optimization. Support with all HQ requests for reporting as needed. Provide support and coverage of daily tasks for the Toledo Plant as needed for absences. Performs all other assigned duties and/or special assignments as delegated. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or other related field. Excellent oral and written communication for effective reporting to management, customer, and suppliers. Excellent interpersonal skills are required. MS Office is a must; SAP and MS Project are preferred. Bilingual speaking is a plus (English / Spanish / Korean)
