Description:
Responsibilities:
Noblis MSD is seeking candidates with experience working directly with Navy Logistics, ILS Documentation and the Navy Supply System. The candidate will provide day-to-day, onsite logistics support for a large US Navy owned enterprise network. Candidate will be responsible for working independently to plan, develop and support logistics activities on behalf of the client.
- Responsible for logistics products to support system installations, specifically, Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Packages and MBPS/Configuration Data Managers Database - Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) work files developed and submitted within the Navy Data Environment (NDE).
- Responsible for responding to emergent requests for detailed analysis of existing MBPS/CDMD-OA work file submissions.
- Coordinate supply support, packaging, and shipping of equipment.
- Provide direct logistical and programmatic support to the assigned Government Logistics Lead.
- Access the Government owned CMPro online configuration management tool to input and process work orders to track inventory that is issued, transferred, used for material maintenance and equipment repair orders, and identified as material disposal.
- Support sparing determination and fulfillment activities, software license management, and hardware warranty management. This includes the following onsite efforts: inventory validation, identifying equipment reuse/disposal, determining spares candidates, providing Tier IV hardware processes, documenting and tracking software license purchase and usage, and Remedy Asset Management reporting training.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and 0 years of experience, or Associates Degree and 3 years or a High School diploma with 6 years of experience.
- 5+ years of Navy Logistics experience with expert level knowledge of ILS Documentation; Including User’s Logistics Support Summary (ULSS), Life Cycle Support Plan (LCSP), Demand Forecasting with supporting documentation, Baseline Assessment Memorandum (BAM), obsolescence management, and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material shortages (DMSMS).
- Experience with Model Based Product Support (MBPS) and Configuration Data Manager Database-Open Architecture (CDMD-OA).
- Active DOD Secret Clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with CMPro is desired
- Previous experience supporting programs at SPAWAR / NIWC PAC
