Description
SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support the G/ATOR program in Hanahan, SC location. This position is 100%25 on- site. Candidate will be responsible for the following: Control the efficient flow of goods, services and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements. May also plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production Plan and manage material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production Ensure the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes. Logistics functions encompass maintenance, supply, transportation and logistics plans Support program formulation, policy planning, coordination, inspection, integrated logistics processes, joint planning logistics, asset visibility, and material management. Perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; will work out of a central warehouse Use computer system and CMPro for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting Control the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements Build relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives Integrate learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position Support receiving, replacing, and retiring of HW inventory and components Apply processes in accordance with DoD. Required Education and Experience: Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience Must be a U.S. citizen with an active secret security clearance Experience with CMPro required Experience with common software and operating systems Ability to work independently with minimal direction, but also in a team environment Ability to follow procedures under stressful conditions
