SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst to provide day-to-day, onsite operational logistics maintenance and support of electronic systems, workstations, and servers for the US Navy’s Computer Network Defense team in Charleston, SC. SAIC is looking for a motivated, adaptable individual with a background in DoD Logistics, willing and able to help with mission critical operations in support of NIWC LANT. Job Description: · This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining program specific logistics technical documentation, such as: Logistics Schedules, Action Item Tracking Sheets, Program Briefs & Presentations, Naval Messages, Logistics Support Plans & Schedules, Technical Manuals, Training Materials, ILS Certification Sheets, Configuration Work Files, Installation Planning Documents, Provisioning Lists, MRCs, and nomenclature. · Maintain program-specific detailed spreadsheets to track inventory across multiple builds and variants, organize hardware parts and integral build components, and account for inbound/outbound equipment and material. · Utilize the U.S. Navy's Model-Based Product Support (MBPS) system to develop and update COP files to list every piece of equipment and quantities at each project site. · Create automated actions that alert appropriate parties to changes in data, timelines, or any other matrix pertaining to the program involved. · Develop vital items for the ILS package deliverables for FRCB or ILS Certification. · Provide Provisioning Support to create and submit XRIC/XSFT requests, work with NAVSUP to create/submit provisioning work packages to include revisions, upgrades, and new work files into Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) and Integrated Logistics Information Tool (ILIT). Travel: Anticipated travel is up to 10%25, both CONUS and OCONUS. Candidate must have or be able to obtain a US Passport. Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree and three (3) years or more logistics experience; or 7 years of related ILS experience with a GED/HS degree. Required Skills: Minimum of 3 years' experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, to include: logistics principles, practices, and processes. Provisioning experience with updating nomenclature, XSFT, CDMD-OA, ILS Certification, TMINS, maintenance and installation of work files. Proficiency with CMPRO or DoD inventory / logistics management tools for input and tracking of material. Must be able to complete and pass training required to utilize the U.S. Navy's Model-Based Product Support (MBPS) system. Candidates for this position will need excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to adjust to constantly changing priorities and tasks. Detailed knowledge of Microsoft 365 to include, but not limited to: Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Power Automate, OneNote, and OneDrive. · Candidates for this position will need excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to adjust to constantly changing priorities and tasks. Required Clearance: Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret. Desired skills: Professional Logistics certifications. Experience with Navy Logistics programs.
