Description

What we are looking for:
Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Logistics and Asset Management Analyst in support of an upcoming contract with the Federal Government.
The Logistics and Asset Management Analyst provides mission-critical support to federal logistics and sustainment operations through accurate data entry, analysis, and lifecycle management of assets using IBM Maximo. This role is essential in ensuring asset visibility, audit readiness, and compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) policies, directives, and reporting standards. The Analyst will work closely with logistics, maintenance, and supply chain stakeholders to strengthen operational readiness and support federal program objectives.
Location: DC Metro Area with possibilities for remote work

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & TRAINING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent military/federal experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or asset management roles within federal or defense environments.
  • Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo or similar Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems.
  • Strong data entry and data management skills with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience supporting Department of Defense, federal agencies, or defense contractors in logistics and sustainment operations.
  • Knowledge of federal asset accountability, property management, and supply chain policies.
  • Familiarity with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) principles and readiness reporting frameworks.
  • Experience with federal reporting systems and audit preparation.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • U.S. Citizenship (required for clearance eligibility)
  • Active Secret clearance (required)

  • Maintain accurate and complete records of assets, inventory, and equipment lifecycle events within IBM Maximo.
  • Support DoD logistics and sustainment operations by tracking shipments, receipts, maintenance schedules, and asset disposition.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and periodic audits to ensure compliance with federal regulations, contractual requirements, and audit standards.
  • Generate and analyze reports on asset utilization, equipment availability, maintenance status, and lifecycle trends for leadership and program managers.
  • Coordinate with supply, maintenance, and program support teams to ensure data accuracy and timely updates of preventive and corrective maintenance work orders.
  • Provide input into logistics and asset management policy development, ensuring alignment with DoD standards and directives (e.g., DoDI 5000.91, DoDI 4161.02).
  • Assist with inspections, readiness reporting, and audit preparation activities.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to optimize logistics workflows and strengthen data integrity.
  • Support user training and troubleshooting for IBM Maximo and related systems.
