We’re looking for a Logistics & Dispatch Supervisor to take charge of our catering delivery operations at Gourmet Food Parlour’s busy kitchen in Santry. If you’re highly organised, tech-savvy, and passionate about ensuring everything runs like clockwork, this could be the role for you.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in logistics, dispatch, or delivery operations (hospitality or catering an advantage).
  • Proficiency in dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Valid driver’s licence with a clean record.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions under pressure.
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule and coordinate catering delivery drivers to meet daily and event requirements.
  • Optimise routes and track deliveries using dispatch software and GPS systems.
  • Maintain accurate driver rosters and ensure shift coverage.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, kitchen staff, and clients.
  • Ensure orders are accurately prepared, packed, and meet quality standards.
  • Manage and resolve delivery issues promptly.
  • Keep detailed delivery and performance records, and prepare operational reports.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and sales teams for event planning and special requests.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including post-delivery follow-ups.
  • Assist in onboarding and training delivery staff.
