Description
We are seeking a Facilities and Logistics Specialist with expertise in Chinese Mandarin and Taiwanese language, as well as deep knowledge of Taiwanese business culture and local customs. This role supports our international company in assisting clients with a broad variety of goods and services in Taiwan, while ensuring cost efficiencies, streamlined operations, and expanding local networks. This position requires to work full-time onsite in Taipei, Taiwan. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support logistics operations for our clients, focusing on Taiwan market entry and navigation. Leverage strong knowledge of local language, business etiquette, and cultural practices to bridge gaps between our company and Taiwanese stakeholders. Expand and maintain local networks for sourcing, distribution, and logistics of a variety of goods and services. Provide organized, detail-oriented support in planning, scheduling, and coordinating logistic activities. Analyze and interpret industry-specific intricacies to advise on best practices, regulatory requirements, and cost-saving opportunities. Assist with vendor relations, supply chain coordination, and documentation to ensure smooth operations. Proactively identify opportunities to reduce costs and optimize efficiency in logistics processes. Required Skills & Experience Must be a U.S. citizen. Strong proficiency in Chinese Mandarin and Taiwanese language, with deep understanding of local business culture and customs. Highly organized, detail-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities. Experience in logistics, supply chain, or market-entry support. Demonstrated ability to build and expand local business networks. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products. Desired Skills & Experience DoD Secret clearance or above security clearance desired but not mandatory.
