ABOUT VIPA

VIPA is a European multinational company, based in Lausanne, Switzerland, with a leading position in the global recycling and recovered material trading sectors. As our business in Latin America is expanding, we wish to grow our team in the Panama-area office, and therefore we are looking for a specialized Freight Procurement Associate, who can be based anywhere in Central or South America.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

• Fluency in Spanish & English
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Customer-centric approach
• Attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform under pressure and deadlines

• Participate in logistics rates and terms negotiations
• Be engaged in the searches of new potential logistics and transportation vendors within the area of responsibility
• Communicate with colleagues and logistics partners in Latin America
• Be in charge of respective data entry and electronic document management
• Collaborate with other departments of the company in order to ensure customer satisfaction
