Description Position Overview Under the direction of the Director of Operations and Logistics, the Operations Coordinator will be responsible the logistics of importing goods, ensuring compliance with regulations and tariffs, and overseeing the flow of shipments from origin to destination. Position is not limited to import logistics but includes daily operational responsibilities as well. Responsibilities Responsibilities include but not limited to: • Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records (WIP/finished goods). • Logistics Coordination: Schedule and track shipments, prepare documentation (BOL, packing lists), and manage carrier relationships. • Warehouse Operations: Receive, store, and distribute materials, optimize layout, and ensure safety compliance. • Data Accuracy: Enter, update, and audit inventory data in the database, including part transfers and adjustments. • Problem Resolution: Research and resolve shipping delays or inventory issues. • Creates inventory/transit/performance reports for management review. • Communicate with other departments within the business unit. • Manages relationships with third party warehouse teams. • Backup other vital operational functions as skills expand. Requirements Education: • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent • Additional education and training a plus Experience: • Experience with SAP Transactions preferred • Requires intermediate working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel Other Requirements: • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency • Able to work directly with customers and inside staff to resolve issues in difficult situations • Excellent written and verbal communication along with multi-tasking, prioritization and organization skills • Strong attention to details • Ability to adapt and perform unassigned tasks if needed • SAP Experience is a plus • Mechanical/ technical aptitude a plus Benefits: We offer an excellent compensation package and team-oriented work environment with growth opportunities.
