JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a proactive and hardworking Logistics and Operations Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role provides support to Operations, Logistics, and Project teams. The successful candidate will acquire a developing role with responsibilities to manage goods in/out, stock monitoring, project coordination, process development, administrative tasks, and provide first-line support across a variety of business areas.
This is an exciting opportunity to grow within an expanding and developing role, with opportunity for career progression within our Team.
Coordinate outgoing shipments, track deliveries, and liaise with customers on returns, license entitlements, and delivery confirmations.
Attend site visits to support installation and technical teams with logistics, equipment setup, and documentation. This includes assisting during installations by preparing kits, organising transport and equipment, and ensuring all onsite needs are met efficiently. Generate Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), maintain operational documentation, and support continuous improvement of internal processes. Manage stock levels, customer spares holdings, and company assets using internal systems with high attention to accuracy. Handle all purchasing tasks related to stock, project requirements, and office supplies. Provide first-line operational support by answering calls, assigning support tickets, and actively monitoring the internal ticketing system to ensure timely resolution. Maintain internal and external equipment maintenance logs.
