Duties:

• Oversee and coordinate import and export operations by air, sea, and land.
• Negotiate with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and airlines.
• Manage the entire import cycle: from origin to final delivery.
• Coordinate with customs brokers and carriers.
• Ensure compliance with foreign trade regulations and U.S. customs regulations (CBP, FDA, etc.).
• Optimize time, costs, and operational processes.
• Lead the operations team and provide strategic support to other areas (sales, customer service, etc.).
• Develop logistics KPIs and continuous improvement plans.
• Manage local inventories, warehousing, and distribution.

Requirements:

• University student in Logistics, International Trade, Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in international logistics.
• Proficiency in U.S. customs processes and regulations
• Knowledge of logistics management tools and ERP/WMS systems
• Incoterms, foreign trade documentation
• English/Spanish
• Leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with forwarders, brokers, and shipping lines

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
