The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods from suppliers to customers. This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to optimise supply chain processes.

SKILLS

  • Certified Crane Operator & Forklift Driver would be an advantage
  • Proficient in Shopify for e-commerce and order processing
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and external partners
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and decision-making in logistics operations
  • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in documentation and reporting
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles is advantageous but not essential

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  • Operate crane and forklift to assist in loading, unloading, and moving heavy goods safely and efficiently.
  • Utilise Accounts software for inventory tracking and invoicing,
  • Manage and maintain Shopify product listings, order processing, and stock control.
  • Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings in logistics processes.
  • Resolve any issues related to shipments, including delays or discrepancies in orders.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to shipping and receiving activities.
  • Assist in the development of logistics strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the supply chain.
