Love Shopping Direct is experiencing unprecedented growth across its HVAC and Lighting channels. This has led to an amazing opportunity to further increase the size and scope of the Purchasing department as we continue to establish the business as the leading provider of modern home comforts.
With the ongoing support of the UK’s largest buying groups and increased recognition within the sector, Love Shopping Direct is on a rocket ship trajectory. This includes relocating to a brand-new purpose-built Head Office and Distribution Centre in Walsall, West Midlands in 2022.
To join us on this exciting journey, we are looking for an experienced and successful Sourcing & Supply Chain Coordinator to work closely with our overseas suppliers, maximizing stock availability and cost savings. You will be responsible for forecasting stock requirements, liaising with overseas suppliers, and coordinating shipments.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 2 years’ experience working in Supply chain coordinator role.
  • Strong analytical skills, coupled with commercial awareness.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems
  • Preferable understanding of UK regulations and compliance requirements for products
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Great communication skills and capabilities to build positive relationships with stakeholders and partners within the UK and overseas.
Responsibilities
  • Identify new product opportunities and range gaps using competitor analysis and market data.
  • Support the development of new and existing product ranges and work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities and improvements.
  • Identify future demand and plan forecasts for all key brands.
  • Schedule and maintain healthy stock levels for overseas purchases.
  • Source and negotiate with overseas suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Build relationships with key suppliers to maximize service.
  • Liaise with external suppliers and internal imports on container consolidations, movement, and tracking of containers and shipments, seeking the best possible pricing and terms.
  • Regularly collate and distribute supply chain information to the business, such as outstanding order reports, weekly shipments, invoice, and packing details.
  • Maintain ERP systems with relevant information to provide full visibility to the business, reviewing opportunities to standardize and streamline processes.
  • Ensure products are compliant with UK regulations by maintaining OEM documents.
  • Review supply performance and propose improvements to inventory control as appropriate.
  • Provide and report on departmental KPIs to the wider business.
