The Position

Reporting to the General Manager Operations, the Logistics and Supply Chain Manager will lead the development and execution of COEX's logistics and supply chain strategy, ensuring the efficient collection, transportation and movement of containers across Queensland.This role oversees key supplier relationships, transport providers, warehousing partners and inventory flows that support the Containers for Change scheme. The position plays a critical role in ensuring service delivery performance, contractual compliance and operational efficiency across COEX's supply chain network.Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead the development and execution of COEX's supply chain and logistics strategy.
  • Manage transport, warehousing and 3PL partner relationships across the network.
  • Drive supplier governance, contract performance and compliance outcomes.
  • Lead contract reviews, EOI, and tender processes.
  • Support the ongoing development of the Logistics Outlook Program.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve network performance and cost efficiency.
  • Oversee inventory management, product flows and distribution activities.
  • Develop and mentor a growing Supply Chain team.
  • Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships across the value chain.
  • Support future network expansion and supply chain capability development.

About You

You are an experienced logistics and supply chain leader who has successfully operated within complex transport, warehousing, 3PL or supply chain environments.To be successful, you will bring:

  • Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring and performance management
  • Demonstrated success managing supplier relationships, contracts and service performance
  • Experience leading contract reviews, EOI, and tender processes
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with a focus on cost optimisation and value creation
  • Experience in inventory management, distribution operations and supply chain planning
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • High levels of emotional intelligence with the ability to lead teams through change and transformation
  • Experience within recycling, environmental services, beverage or related industries will be highly regarded.
