POSITION SUMMARY:
The Transportation Application Lead is a key business product owner within the IT/Business Technology department, responsible for driving the design, implementation, and integration of supply chain applications—particularly Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other Supply Chain applications —to support Sales and Operations functions. This role ensures that IT solutions meet business needs through close collaboration with stakeholders, rigorous technical execution, and deep understanding of logistics and operational workflows.
The Application Manager will act as the primary technical liaison between business teams and IT, leading cross-functional initiatives that enable data-driven decision-making and process automation within the supply chain landscape. This position is expected to be the Super User of a variety of applications, including Turvo, CRM, Carrier Trading Tools, Telematics Tracking Applications, Reporting Applications, etc.
