Purpose of the Role: Transportation is a key Supply Chain process and comprises critical steps of O2C, M2D and P2P processes such as shipments planning & execution and freight settlement, primarily over SAP and OTM systems. In that space, the Logistics Asia/Africa Product Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of transport operations by leading a technical support team which is responsible for end-to-end support in the domain of transportation IT. This role would focus on partnering with key stakeholders in Asia/Africa transport operations e.g., Business team, Control Tower, PDN teams, Ultralogistik, Logistics Development Team etc. on an ongoing basis to ensure system resilience and smooth functioning of BAU. Being DevOps in nature, the role also requires an end-to-end delivery of small sized projects in transportation area with efficient stakeholder management and collaboration with multiple teams. What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be: Manage & ensure resources with right skill set are working to deliver the task Support the BAU issues and co-ordinate with the Support team and Business stakeholders to ensure the right response & resolution is provided for the issues. Support the Application Landscape team for the functional area and to manage tasks like user management etc. Identifying the focus and attention areas by analyzing incident trends Governance with global team, Oracle support team, market and other technical teams regarding issues, projects, future upgrades Proactive monitoring, analysis, and improvements for system performance Tracking of cost optimization on support consumption and reviewing the support effort Making sure that tickets are closed within the agreed/requested time Aiding in ticket resolution. Working on potential escalations that might happen in subject of BAU vendor support performance/response time, application performance, issues, etc. Assisting in technical queries as OTM SME Being a “translator” between business teams and technical teams – making sure that both parties are on the same level and understand each other Proactive monitoring, analysis and improvements of OTM performance Accountabilities Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders like Process excellence team, SMEs from other applications like SAP, BTP, Landscape, Change & RM team and with strategic suppliers and 3rd party IT service providers Work with key stakeholders to build and maintain a strong governance process for BAU to ensure better management of day-to-day operations Help co-ordinate and manage business IT projects (small scale) in the ERP including minor enhancements for area of responsibility in an effective and efficient manner, delivering the best possible business value Understand and interpret IT strategic architecture, ensure all fixes/projects/enhancements follow the principles, guidelines and standards set out by the CTO Organization Business Processes: Transport Planning (Bulk plan & shipment approval) Transport execution (appointment, tendering, reporting & track & trace) Freight calculation and settlement (in SAP) Main Associated Technologies / Applications (current view): SAP ECC OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) SAP BTP (middleware) Track & trace system NECESSARY EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: University Graduate (min.
