Scope of the role:
itsu [grocery] is looking for a Logistics Assistant to join its supply chain team. They will assist the supply planning team with inbound stock movements: discussing physical movements with freight forwarders & warehouses, while ensuring stock received matches purchase orders and invoices. They will also support the processing of logistics invoices: distribution, freight & customs invoices.

This is a great entry level Supply Chain role with a broad exposure to supply planners and our suppliers.

  • Assist with container movements, coordinating with warehouses & freight forwarders
  • Check & process logistics invoices: distribution, freight & customs invoices
  • Making enquiries where there are discrepancies and following up to ensure those queries are resolved
  • Assisting with accruals and prepayments at period end
  • Inbound freight rate, customs and lane analysis to assist with inbound planning.
  • Outbound distribution analysis and planning.
