Our Gorham, ME location is looking for a Logistics Assistant. This role will provide support across shipping, paint preparation, and non CDL delivery. Key Responsibilities: Assist with packaging, labeling, and staging outbound materials. Support receiving and inventory movement as needed. Prepare materials, equipment, and work areas for painting operations. Clean parts when necessary, mark and mask off areas of product, using tape and masking paper to protect surrounding areas when painted. Removes and disposes of tab and masking paper after the paint is dry. Touchup as needed and reassemble parts when necessary. Ensure accuracy and quality in every step of the process. Safely handle paint, paint related materials and hazardous waste properly. Properly disposes of paint, thinner, rags and masking paper. Maintain an organized and clean, safe workspace. Works closely with team to meet deadlines. Read and interpret blueprints to complete work per customers’ orders. Interpret and understand blueprints and work orders to produce quality product. Brand the components by creating and affixing labels and stencils. Work in a safe manner following company procedures. High attention to detail ensuring a consistent quality product. Cross training with other departments to meet business needs. Prepare materials, equipment, and work areas for painting operations. Perform sanding, masking, cleaning, and surface prep. Maintain cleanliness and readiness of paint booths and tools. Operate forklift as needed. Transport items between our Nashua, NH and Gorham, ME locations as well as clients and vendors on an as needed basis. Usually limited to once per week. Requirements Requirements and Qualifications: Ability to work in a routine environment. Must be comfortable with hand tools and computers. Highschool diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physically active work. Previous experience in shipping and/or paint preparation preferred but not required. Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures. Willingness to cross-train and adapt to shifting priorities. Team-oriented, reliable, and proactive. Strong time management and organizational skills. Work Environment: Combination of shop floor, warehouse, and office settings. Exposure to noise, dust, paint materials, and machinery with appropriate PPE provided. On the road. Driving the company van between facilities is required 1x/week. Schedule: Full time, 6:00am – 2:30pm, Mon - Fri. Limited flexibility required based on department needs. Wage scale: $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
