If you enjoy being active, are willing to undertake a variety of physical tasks then you will be excited by the opportunity to join our logistics team as a Logistics Assistant. You will assist with moving and transporting equipment, furniture, inventory, and mail within the Campus as well as any other tasks from within the wider logistics team. With our campus nestled in a park like setting, we offer a great working environment along with generous annual leave and other benefits. Salary will be in the range of $53,227 to $58,406 per year based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. This is a full-time role (40 hours a week), based on our Hillcrest Campus. For more information on the role please see the position description here. Reporting to the Logistics Team Leader you will: Be able to work independently and have excellent communication with all stakeholders within the University. Need a full clean NZ drivers licence and be a confident driver to navigate the Campus and all those who use it. You will need to drive a small truck ( but truck license not required). Have basic carpentry skills to dismantle and reassemble furniture as part of office moves. Have the physical strength and capability to suit the manual handling aspect of this role whilst adhering to expected health & safety standards. Have basic computer and keyboard skills to access work requests and emails and process mails. Be well presented with strong communication (English language) and customer services skills to ensure our team are well represented across Campus. Ko wai mātou? – Who are we? PS is responsible for providing management and advice for all aspects of property across the University’s campuses including project management, space management, leased properties, physical asset management, operations and maintenance.
