JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Associate to join our dynamic operations team. In this role, you will be a crucial part of our supply chain, ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of goods from receiving to shipping. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience: High school diploma. Previous experience (6 months - 1+ years) in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory role is preferred
  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout a shift. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly. Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or inventory software is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure order and inventory accuracy.
  • Teamwork: Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and committed to fulfilling assigned tasks.
  • Safety-Minded: A strong commitment to following safety guidelines and protocols.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE-TO-HAVES):

  • Valid forklift certification (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck).
  • Experience in a fast-paced e-commerce or distribution environment.
  • Knowledge of shipping carrier requirements (e.g., FedEx, UPS, Purolator, Canada Post).

Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damage.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to established standards.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and potentially forklifts (if certified).
  • Load and unload delivery trucks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain impeccable organization within the warehouse, including stocking shelves and performing cycle counts.
  • Utilize inventory management software and barcode scanners to track, manage, and update inventory records.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet daily shipping and receiving goals.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Assist in resolving any shipping, receiving, or inventory discrepancies.
