Description
Requires direct involvement with specific departments in support of accurate receiving, distribution, and transportation of materials. Responsible for the daily movement of essential patient direct and non-direct related items throughout Mayo Clinic with attention to standards for professionalism, safety, security, and productivity.  Delivers patient specimens, pharmaceuticals, surgical instruments, surgical implants, medical scopes, patient histories, staff educational material, inter clinic mail, USPS mail, USPS packages under 50lbs., and various items including nuclear medicine materials.  Must display high-level problem-solving skills to resolve issues related to materials not received or delayed. Collaborates with the supervisor and the affected work unit for solutions. Sustains and complies with a broad range of policies and governmental regulations.
