Logistics CDL Driver, Class A CDL - Essential Responsibilities: We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Logistics CDL Driver to join our team. This role involves operating a semi-truck to transport uncontaminated loads of seed, grain, fertilizer, and other agricultural products. We take pride in our long-standing driver retention, with many team members serving for decades. Safely operate semi-trucks, including Hopper Bottom and Live-Floor (Belt) trailers, in compliance with all traffic laws and defensive driving practices Ensure timely daily pickup and delivery of agricultural commodities Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance Utilize pallet jacks to load/unload products from dry vans when necessary Maintain delivery records and verify accurate loading and unloading procedures Clean truck thoroughly between product changes to prevent contamination Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transit Lock cab and cargo doors when unattended Refrain from using cell phones or handheld devices while driving Drive cautiously and responsibly in all weather and road conditions Collaborate across departments to support broader business operations Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Logistics CDL Driver, Class A CDL - Required Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Clean driving record Preferred endorsements: Tanker and Hazmat Prior experience in Class A CDL delivery preferred Basic computer and technology proficiency Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks Problem-solving mindset with sound judgment High level of integrity and accountability Resilience and adaptability in challenging situations Excellent organizational and time management abilities Commitment to outstanding customer service Positive attitude and collaborative spirit Ability to sit and drive for extended periods Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally Willingness to work in outdoor environments Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols Find your place in a positive, supportive atmosphere where opportunity is always growing, with a team that believes in its mission.
