Description Summary: The position is designed to release some of the daily clerical duty for the Logistics manager. This will include administrative work associated with small parcel shipments, tracking of the movement of freight and coding and processing of freight bills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Creating small parcel and BOL’s for return and misc. outbound shipments Helping with the routing of show orders. Creating export documents for shipments going into Canada Documentation control for imports and ACH duty payments Tracking inbound shipments to support the procurement and warehouse receiving departments. Provide reports from our Freight payment database Coding Freight bills exception in our Freight pay data base. Running reports from the AX data base, Other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Knowledge of basic WINDOWS applications required. Working knowledge of the ERP system AX preferred Education: High School diploma or G.E.D equivalent Language Skills: Ability to read and speak basic English to allow instructions and teaching of position requirements. Ability to respond to common inquiries from customer in a professional manner. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Must be a self-starter and able to perform tasks without direct supervision. Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness to ensure quality. Other Skills and Abilities: Team oriented in a fast-paced work environment with project deadlines. Self-motivated with the ability to quickly learn. Working knowledge and experience using Microsoft office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
