WE ARE HIRING: LOGISTICS CLERK (IMPORT/EXPORT FREIGHT, INTERMODAL, & LOAD BROKERAGE)

Are you experienced in import/export freight and intermodal logistics? Do you have hands-on experience dealing with major U.S. ports and have a solid background in load brokerage and 3rd party carrier track & trace? If so, we want to hear from you! We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Logistics Clerk to join our team.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Import/Export Freight Management: Handle logistics related to international shipping, ensuring smooth operations for import and export processes.
  • Intermodal Load Management: Manage and track intermodal loads to ensure timely delivery and efficiency.
  • Major U.S. Ports Coordination: Work closely with major U.S. ports, understanding port operations and logistics requirements for seamless transportation.
  • Load Brokerage: Coordinate load brokerage, acting as a liaison between shippers and carriers to ensure shipments are on track and delivered on time.
  • 3rd Party Carrier Track & Trace: Monitor and track shipments with third-party carriers, ensuring timely updates and resolutions to any issues.
  • Excel Proficiency: Use Excel to analyze, track, and report logistics data. Strong knowledge of Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) is required.
  • SharePoint Knowledge: Navigate and manage logistics-related documentation in SharePoint to ensure smooth workflow and information sharing.

WHAT THIS ROLE DOES NOT INVOLVE:

  • You will not be managing drivers or overseeing DOT regulations.
  • This role does not include routing stops or planning delivery routes.
  • Inventory management, loading/unloading trucks, and physical handling of goods are not part of your responsibilities.
