QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED (minimum requirement)
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
  • Punjabi language is an asset
  • Strong computer literacy and typing proficiency (minimum 50 - 70 WPM)
  • Excellent organizational skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and hectic environment
  • Effective multitasking and communication skills
  • Good listener with attention to detail and follow-through
  • Availability for rotating shifts, including evenings, and weekends
  • Prior experience in transportation, dispatch, or logistics is an asset but not required.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our growing transportation team in Mississauga, ON. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth daily logistics, ensuring timely communication with drivers, customer and coordinating shipments effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Driver Coordination: Track and trace drivers in real time while responding to customer inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Customs Documentation: Manage customs clearance processes, including PAPS, PARS, ACE, and ACI.
  • Dispatch Operations: Dispatch drivers and clearly communicate load details, freight requirements, and procedures.
  • Order Coordination: Contact shippers and receivers to verify, track, and update shipment statuses.
  • Data Management: Maintain company software systems with accurate and timely data entry.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional administrative or operational tasks as assigned by management.
