JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our logistics operations, ensuring efficient warehouse distribution, order fulfillment, and transportation management. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain processes, data analysis skills, and experience with various logistics systems.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in logistics coordination or a similar role within warehouse distribution environments.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and freight management is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is an asset.
  • Experience with data analysis tools to assess supply chain performance metrics.
  • Background in demand planning or pricing strategies will be beneficial.
  • Previous exposure to materials management practices is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of logistics operations including shipping & receiving, order picking, and inventory management.
  • Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) to optimize freight routes and reduce costs.
  • Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in warehouse operations and procurement activities.
  • Analyze data related to demand planning, pricing strategies, and materials management to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Manage warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and streamline order fulfillment processes.
  • Maintain accurate records in ERP systems, including AS400 for effective tracking of shipments and orders.
  • Support e-commerce operations by coordinating packaging and shipping requirements for online orders.
  • Operate forklifts as needed for loading and unloading materials within the warehouse.
