Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Logistics Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for organizing and monitoring the flow of goods, including coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, preparing documentation, and ensuring timely delivery to customers and internal stakeholders. The Logistics Coordinator will manage inventory records, support demand planning, and work closely with suppliers, warehouses, and transportation partners to optimize logistics processes and costs. This role also involves tracking shipments, resolving delivery issues, maintaining accurate data in ERP or logistics systems, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations. Daily collaboration with sales, customer service, and operations teams is essential to meet service-level targets and support Sylvania Group’s sustainability and efficiency goals.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Candidates should possess strong analytical skills to interpret logistics data, monitor KPIs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Candidates should possess excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, logistics partners, and customers.
• Candidates should possess solid customer service skills to manage delivery inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
• Candidates should possess experience in inventory management to track stock levels, reconcile discrepancies, and support accurate forecasting.
• Candidates should possess supply chain management skills to coordinate end-to-end flows, optimize transportation routes, and support cost-effective operations.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field are beneficial.
• Proficiency in ERP or logistics systems, MS Excel, and other office software is preferred.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment are important.
• Prior experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain coordination, ideally within industrial or manufacturing sectors, is an advantage.
