Description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Ensuring continuity of supply to end-user customers by managing daily communication with COS desks, Supply Planning (Factories, RDCs/LDCs) and transport companies, and aligning loading plans with warehouses and freight forwarders.
  • Managing the export process by monitoring documents (dispatch notes, DGNs, shipping invoices), coordinating with forwarders and customs, and resolving system errors (incl. IDOC management with Local Service Providers) to prevent delays.
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy by processing stock quarantine/pass adjustments in SAP and WMS, and handling returns within agreed timeframes while optimizing the process.
  • Supporting financial accuracy by managing invoicing, ensuring documentation is signed, checked and distributed on time, and performing random invoice checks for correctness.
  • Acting as SPOC for assigned regions, taking ownership of logistics operations and coordinating with Warehouse, Carrier, Customer Service Desk and Supply Planning.

EXPERIENCE

  • Customer service and administration or Supply Planning/Logistics
  • Warehousing, transport and customs
  • Specific knowledge or experience in Export processes and according Export Documents

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

  • English and Dutch language speaker
  • IT Skills: Excel /Word – Good. SAP – Good, Asset: experience with a WMS system
  • Shipping of hazardous materials
  • Assertive and Customer service minded (high nr of internal and external stakeholders)
  • Export processes and according to documentation
  • High level of attention to detail, but keeping helicopter view of the total process
  • Ability to work within time constraints
  • Excellent personal organisation

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATES/LICENCES/REGISTRATION REQUIRED

  • Good standard of education required
  • ADR (road) transport of dangerous goods certificates all required (Internal Training)
Responsibilities

As a Logistics Coordinator, you report directly to the Team Lead Logistics MPY. In this role, you make sure the operations at our Regional Distribution Centre in Genk, Belgium, run smoothly and meet the required service levels.
You are the key link between our Customer Order Sales desks across Europe, Supply Planning (Intercompany), and Export markets. Thanks to you, their requirements are met on time and in full. You also keep a close eye on the OTIF performance of our Distribution Centres and Transport carriers, making sure everything aligns with our Service Level Agreements and company objectives.
