Job description: Join a team that delivers precision and efficiency. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to play a key role in supporting our Custom Contract Manufacturing (CCM) group, with a focus on Naval Lights. This role ensures the accurate flow of inventory and the timely preparation of kits that keep our assembly lines moving without delay. Job Duties Function of product receipt and goods storage. Accurately gather and stage all required components for each workstation. Visually inspect kits for accuracy & completeness. Maintain inventory accuracy, monitor levels and stock movements. Conduct audits & reconcile physical stock with inventory records. Promptly address issues related to damage or missing items. Apply inventory control measures to prevent discrepancies and shortages. Manage availability and accuracy of supplier-owned inventory. Provide assembly support during peak times. Support shipping activities. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; education or certification in logistics considered an asset Previous experience in a similar role in manufacturing or distribution is advantageous. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Attention to detail and accuracy in work. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to respond to changing production demands or unforeseen challenges. Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and packages. Comfortable standing, bending, and reaching during work activities. Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends if needed to meet deadlines. Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn and use enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is required.
