We are seeking an experienced, organised, committed, and enthusiastic Logistics Coordinator to join a client of ours.

Responsibilities

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for planning, organising, and executing logistics support activities, including:

  • Stock management
  • Order processing, fulfilment, and scheduling
  • Shipment planning
  • Expediting freight consignments to successful completion
  • Updating transactions on our Warehouse Management System
  • Accruing costs and pricing jobs

FURTHER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Expediting the movement of goods and services to maximise value and minimise costs
  • Coordinating the availability and allocation of materials, supplies, and finished products
  • Collaborating with other departments to meet customer requirements, seize sales opportunities, or minimise the impact of shortages
  • Building and encouraging mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
  • Setting goals and plans to prioritise, organise, and complete work effectively
  • Making decisions and solving problems through data analysis, verification, and evaluation of results
  • Supporting team activities by establishing priorities, scheduling and tracking assignments, providing guidance, and ensuring resources are available
  • Communicating effectively with supervisors, peers, and subordinates, while developing and maintaining positive working relationships
  • Implementing plans and schedules in line with our Quality Management and Health & Safety policies
  • Protecting and controlling proprietary materials
  • Understanding customers’ needs and taking action to ensure they are met
  • Maintaining and developing strong business relationships with key customer personnel
  • Monitoring and evaluating subcontractor activities, reviewing proposals and performance specifications, and liaising with service providers
  • Coordinating with transportation providers to ensure prompt and efficient movement of shipments
  • Responding to customer enquiries and directing them to the appropriate channels
  • Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents for accuracy
  • Making special shipping arrangements where required
  • Tracking and resolving shipping errors
  • Preparing bills and invoices
  • Ensuring that all services meet required quality standards
  • Developing and improving processes to make the supply chain more efficient and organised
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: €35,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
