Wellink Lekkerkerk BV is looking for a Logistics Coordinator with Leadership ambitions who enjoys taking responsibility, maintaining an overview, and knows how to motivate colleagues. In this position, you will support the daily logistics operation and, together with the foreman, manage a team of approximately 20 employees. Additionally, you will have ample opportunities to further develop yourself, with advancement possibilities to a position as Head of Logistics.

Some of our products are packaged for shipment, while others are processed into premixes. Within our organization, production and logistics work closely together. The logistics department consists of various components, including the packing department, dispatch, head line, packaging, and administration. Together, we ensure that our customers can count on a reliable delivery of quality products every day. 

What are you going to do?

• Daily management and supervision of logistics employees.
• Drawing up and monitoring staff schedules.
• Managing and checking packaging.
• Maintaining contact with drivers, carriers, and planners.
• Coordinating incoming and outgoing goods flows.
• Performing and monitoring quality controls.
• Working with and monitoring the logistics scanning system.
• Identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks.
• Continuous improvement of logistics processes.
• Ensuring a safe, tidy, and organized work environment.
• Assuming the foreman's responsibilities in his absence.

• Minimum MBO working and thinking level.
• Experience in logistics, production, or a similar environment.
• Leadership qualities or the ambition to further develop them.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to switch between different departments.

• Flexibility in working hours when the situation requires it.

Working hours

The work mainly takes place between 06:00 and 15:00.

The operational working hours of F. Wellink Lekkerkerk BV are between 05:00 and 18:00. In the event of illness, vacation, or other circumstances, your workday may occasionally start earlier or end later.
